Why do I need an Air Bleed Valve?

Our Air Bleed Valve is used to prevent air locks that cause sputtering when your irrigation system turns on. When it turns on air pockets within the system are forced out of the Air Bleed Valve, then as the system pressurizes it closes the valve and uniformly feeds the rest of the system.
