Root-zone engineering

The scienceunder the system.

Control the root zone and the rest of the grow gets predictable. One coco spec, one nutrition logic, one QA standard — the same engineering behind QuickFill, LooseFill, and the dry nutrient line.

01 / The root-zone equation

Water where you want it. Air everywhere else.

Every FloraFlex media spec is defined by one ratio: how much of the container holds water, and how much stays open for air and drainage. Pick the blend, and the ratio is fixed — every unit, every batch.

85% total porosity 31% aeration EC <0.6 mS/cm pH 6.1–6.9 Signature pre-charge

100% coco runs every QuickFill bag. LooseFill ships both blends, loose, in 50-liter bags.

02 / Substrate

Repeatable substrate behavior.

Super-washed coco peat compressed 5:1, expanding to a fixed 60% water-holding capacity and 40% air space. Every unit re-wets the same way, so a recipe dialed in one container holds across the room — and across formats. The same media spec fills QuickFill bags from 1/4 to 3 gallon and LooseFill 50-liter sacks.

03 / Nutrition

EC-first nutrition.

Two-part water-soluble concentrates dose to an electrical-conductivity target instead of guessing by volume — soluble up to 3 lb per gallon, so the feed stays steady as the reservoir turns over. V1 and V2 carry veg. B1 and B2 carry bloom. Bulky B and Full Tilt finish the cycle.

04 / Quality

Verified, traceable inputs.

The coco is CDFA certified, with a full AOAC heavy-metals panel and microbiological plating on every batch. Each unit carries a printed batch number traceable to source — media you can audit, not just trust.

05 / The result

Healthy roots start with quality coco coir.

Start your plants in a medium engineered for purity and consistency, and watch their early vigor translate into better results at harvest. Drag the divider to compare root development side by side.

Every batch runs the gauntlet.

Six gates between harvest and your rack. No unit ships without a number that traces back through all of them.

01

Super-wash

Coco peat washed to strip native salts before compression.

02

EC verification

Tested below 0.6 mS/cm, Dutch Method 1:1.5.

03

Heavy-metals panel

Full AOAC panel on every batch.

04

Micro plating

Microbiological plating screens each lot.

05

CDFA certification

Certified as an agricultural input.

06

Batch stamp

A printed batch number on every unit, traceable to source.
